Condense App Reviews

I have used plenty of OCR software, mainly those shipped with scanners, but this software provided a more accurate interpretation and made it easy to paste and include pieces of the scanned document into my document. With the default settings, I was able to select and copy black (English) text from salmon-colored paper with minimal corrections.

There is not way ordinarily to clip something from an app that does not let you select text (I’m thinking of iTunes and the Mac App Store, but there are others). For example, if an app description contains link to the developer’s site, you have to retype the link into your browser; you cannot just select it and paste it into the address bar. Condense fixes all this. With Condense, you can select any image and convert the characters in it to editable (and paste-able) text. Super useful when it is needed.
